The group trying to get a "fake" Tea Party on Michigans November ballot has turned in almost 60,000 petitions. These petitions and their signers are now public knowledge. We need your help. We are asking any group who can help to sign up and help us scrub these names. If you see a name from your area that you know, ask the person about signing the petition. Did they know what they were signing? Were the petition workers representing properly or did they say or pretend to be representing an existing Tea Party group. The first site is the group trying to screen through the petitions. It is being headed by Eric Rothoff, of Zarko Research, (The group that originally broke the story about the MI TEA PARTY GROUP). Hello,
I have finally got things set up so that people can start getting
the scanned images, and data entering the Fake Tea Party Petitions. I
have two web pages currently off of my web page. The first,
http://www.mitransparency.com/index.php/Files_for_Data_Entry has all of
the scanned petitions by county, and the excel files for entering in the
data. The second page,
http://www.mitransparency.com/index.php/Pages_Data_Entered is a list of
every county page, where you can enter in what pages have been typed in,
County Coordinator, and any other info you would like. (It is a standard
wiki page, so you can add content to it as you like.) When you get done
with some pages, (daily, or every other day) please send me the data
entered to my email address erothoff@mitranspency.com. I still have to
combine all of this data, so that we can run a comparison check with
Qualified Voter File, Duplicates, and the sample that the Elections
Committee are verifying. If you have any questions, please email or
call, 231-828-4310. I am on the road alot so it is hard to write
something down, but I can explain things.

The second way to obtain the files are the bulk files below. They are HUGE files of over 650 megs each, so we recommend that you use the first site by county if possible. The large files are not categorized in any form, but just the raw petition sheets.
